Bérangère is Exigo’s Director of Operations and Co-Founder.
She is a results-oriented and dedicated professional with more than 10 years of international human rights and humanitarian experience in the Middle East. Her field of expertise includes human rights and protection programming. She has an established record of successful monitoring and evaluation, research, program design, and management. Bérangère holds an MA in the field of human rights and humanitarian law from the University of Law and Political Sciences in Paris, France and speaks French, English, Arabic and Russian.
Carl Johan is Exigo’s Director of Media & Communications and Co-Founder. He has a degree in journalism and cinematography. Prior to Exigo, Carl Johan worked as a journalist, videographer and TV producer with a Swedish production company making documentary TV-shows for the Swedish national public service broadcaster SVT. He has also worked as a film editor, graphic designer, and since 2014 he teaches journalism and filmmaking at Skurup Folk High School. Carl Johan speaks Swedish, English, and Turkish.
Melike is Exigo’s Director of Research and Co-Founder. She has over 10 years of practical research experience from Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, with a focus on social research and monitoring, evaluation and learning. Her areas of expertise are aid effectiveness (multiple sectors), gender and development, social cohesion and governance. Melike holds an MA in Social Science, with a major in Peace and Conflict Research, from Uppsala University in Sweden and speaks English, Turkish, Swedish.
